    Tiny Rails Update 1.1.0: European Vacation

    Greetings from Titan HQ to all of our players, new and old. We've got a few happenings in Titanland to report on, so let's get to it!

    PAX South

    Tiny Titan CEO Jeff Evans and Producer Glenn Stanway recently returned from the home of the Alamo, San Antonio, TX, after a mission to Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) South. This is the youngest of the North American PAX shows, but it was absolutely HUGE, and the guys got a chance to see plenty of interesting games and talk to lots of fascinating people across the industry. They didn't manage to play the very much in-demand demos for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild or Resident Evil VII, but they did manage to experience breakfast tacos for the first time. Overall, they'd say it's a win.

    There was a big Canadian indie presence at this year's show, and Tiny Titan is looking forward to taking part in similar promotional missions with our peers in the near future. Thanks to all of the game devs, media representatives and players we met over the weekend for their interest in and support of what we do!

    Tiny Rails on Steam Greenlight

    While we're on the subject of thanks, we're immensely grateful to everyone who supported our recent Greenlight campaign for Tiny Rails. If you haven't heard the news, we're excited to report that the game was greenlit on Day 8 of our campaign with an approval rating of over 65%. We're thrilled with the response and we're making plans for updated designs and release schedules for the game.

    We couldn't have done it without all of the tweets, shares and votes from our amazing community. Sincerely, from us to you: thank you!

    Tiny Rails Update 1.1.0

    Last and most certainly not least, as of this writing, Tiny Rails update 1.1.0 is now available for Android and iOS! This update brings several new things to the Apple version of the game, but here's a summary of the latest things to be added:

    • EUROPE! Traverse the Transatlantic Tunnel and explore four new areas in Europe, with new quests, characters, moments, cars, engines and more. Players will need to complete portions of Chapter 8 to access the new areas and quests;
    • An updated Trainiary now features filters to sort your cars, an improved user interface and refreshed look, and the ability to buy duplicates of cars you've already discovered;
    • A new Manual Depart Mode can be toggled from the options menu, allowing you to force your train to remain at stations until you choose to depart;
    • Critical bug fixes for issues causing players to become trapped between stations and a fix for speed boost becoming locked with an increasing speed multiplier
    We're continuing to work on a couple of additions to come next week, after which we'll be spending some time to optimize the game, try to contend with a couple of tenacious bugs and generally try to improve stability and performance.

    Thank you as always for your support, everyone! We'll chat again soon.
